They did a full analysis of my spinal and musculoskeletal issues, like sciatica, arthritis, and plantar fasciitis. They explained their proposed plan, ensuring I understood and suggested additional reference material in case I wanted to research on my own. I went through 90 days of their customized treatment program, and feel that I have benefitted from it. During this experience I was surprised to see some services that I was unaware chiropractors offered. This included orthopedic massage, and various technologies like therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and their orthotic 3D foot scanner. The orthopedic massage was interesting in that it differed from regular massage by not only being relaxing, but more specific and customized to target my specific musculoskeletal related issues. The infrared and electrical stimulation helped address several minor pain related issues. The 3D foot scanner allowed me to acquire the best insoles that I've ever had. The employees were knowledgeable, acted like a team, with a goal of overall wellness, and a team that truly cares about improving my quality of life. That alone is priceless. In addition, this treatment occurred during the holiday season, and I noticed that they had bins for donations to the local MI Lewis social service center, and participated in the Dickinson Police Department's Blue Santa program. We need more businesses like this that are professional, caring, and serving their community. I'm in my mid-50s, have used modern medicine my whole life, and am pleasantly surprised at my first experience with a chiropractor. It has shown me that this branch of medicine definitely has much to offer, and I particularly appreciate their natural healing philosophy. I will be using them again in the future as well as referring anyone to Wellness First Medical Center who I think could benefit in the ways I have. Absolutely recommend Wellness First Medical Center. I have been dealing with back and hip pain off and on that I didn’t want to treat with meds. I tried chiropractors and basic massage which only helped temporarily. I finally reached a point where I could barely move, walk, or bend over. I have been going to WFMC for only 2.5 weeks.
